In its second acquisition in two months, Integrated Alarm Services Group Inc. (IASG) has bought the equivalent of 5,000 residential alarm contracts from Firstline Security Inc. of Orem, Utah. The contracts, with recurring monthly revenue (RMR) of $150,000, were purchased for $4.4 million.
Most of the IASG accounts are located in California, Michigan, New Jersey and New York. IASG had already been handling the monitoring and billing for the Firstline accounts.
Just last month, IASG purchased a portion of the accounts of Tempe, Ariz.’s ProAlert LLC.
IASG’s Manasquan, N.J., central station will monitor the accounts.
