CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — IBM Security has acquired cybersecurity company Resilient Systems, according to Xconomy.
The report says the deal is worth more than $100 million with other financial details still unknown. Resilient Systems and IBM Security are both based here.
IBM Security has purchased cybersecurity companies in the past: Q1 Labs in 2013 and Trusteer in 2013, according to the report.
Resilient Systems was founded in 2010 and was formerly known as Co3 Systems. Its specialty is incident response in the event of a cyberattack, and the company has just under 100 employees.
