IdentiSys Buys ID Reseller Capital Card Systems
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — IdentiSys Inc., a sales and service integrator of identification, tracking and security systems, has acquired Capital Card Systems (CCS) of Rockville, Md.
CCS provides ID technology solutions to corporate, government, healthcare, education, first responder and emergency management markets in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. The firm’s portfolio includes digital photo ID systems, smartcard/biometric applications, patient ID solutions and more.
“We are excited to add CCS to the IdentiSys business,” company President and COO Debra Ferril says. “We welcome our new sales and service colleagues from CCS. Together, we will provide our customers with an expanded product portfolio, great customer service, exceptional account management and on-site services.
The recent purchase is IdentiSys’ eighth ID dealer acquisition in seven years, IdentiSys Founder and CEO Michael Shields says.
“Our growth strategy includes acquisitions and expanding product offerings to our current customer base,” he explains. “With the addition of CCS, we now have sales and service covering one-third of the United States. We’re looking forward to many years of record growth.”
