Idesco Corp. Donates ID Badge Printer to Little League World Series
The XXL 2.0 card printer for oversized badges is a professional solution to issue durable credentials on demand.
NEW YORK – Security systems integrator Idesco Corp., based here, is donating the use of an oversized ID badge printer to be used during the 70th Little League World Series, which is being held through Aug. 28 at the Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums in Williamsport, Pa.
Idesco provided Little League Baseball with the XXL 2.0 ID card printer to issue more than 700 ID credentials for members of the media during the youth sporting event.
Idesco is the exclusive U.S. dealer for the XXL 2.0. The device is designed to personalize oversized ID cards on demand. Oversized photo ID cards let end users visually scan a crowd and identify at a glance who has proper credentials and access rights to designated areas.

“As you can imagine, with an event of this size, the ability to visually identify authorized members of the working media from organizations all over the world can be a challenging task. This year Idesco really stepped up to the plate to provide us with the latest oversized credential printer technology to make media credentials that are larger than our typical ID badges so that they are more prominent and easier to read,” says James Ferguson, director of security for Little League Baseball and Softball.
Idesco has secured major event venues in the past with the XXL 2.0 printer, according to Idesco President Andrew Schonzeit. The device can print up to 180 full cards per hour in color, and up to 1,400 cards per hour in monochrome.
“It is a true honor to offer this outstanding solution to help protect not only our children and staff, but also the attendees of this premier event,” he says.
