IDIS was in attendance at ISC West and part of its booth display featured the IDIS Super Fisheye camera.
The camera is five megapixels and is said to give complete 360° panoramic surveillance in high definition to give operators complete situational awareness without any blind spots.
Josh Keaton, regional sales manager at IDIS, said the camera has 256 individual views. “With a fisheye camera, typically you think of an overview camera,” he said. “But with this, you can really, really augment that existing product. So now instead of having a number of cameras that are also helping you look at points of interest, this camera can also look at those points of interest as well.”
