Illinois-based integrator Per Mar has extended its reach in
Wisconsin after acquiring Stevens Point, Wis., integrator
CentralCom. Terms of the transaction, which took place on
Feb. 28, were not disclosed.
Industry veterans Kathy and Lee Bernardo, as well as
Michael Skalecke and Wayne Hilgart, led CentralCom, which
serves most of the state of Wisconsin. The deal marks the
Bernardos’ exit from the alarm industry.
“It’s always good to be able to help alarm and security
industry veterans exit the industry gracefully,” says Katie
Bally of the Davis Marketing Group, which represented
CentralCom in the transaction. “In this case, it was a
double pleasure because of the quality of the operation and
the high respect held for the principals. Per Mar and
CentralCom were an ideal match.”
