Ingersoll-Rand Co. Ltd. has agreed to acquire an 80-percent share of China-based Shenzen Bocom System Engineering Co. Ltd., a provider of security systems integration technologies and services. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
Bocom System is the largest independent security systems integration company on mainland China. The company supplies security systems design, engineering, installation and integration. The firm is said to have expertise in the video monitoring of highway traffic, airports, government buildings and general surveillance applications.
The business will operate as part of the Integrated Systems Solutions business of Ingersoll-Rand’s Security Technologies sector.
