Integral Technologies Shows Off New Direction, Focus

DALLAS

September’s ASIS show in Dallas marked a new direction for Indianapolis-based security solution manufacturer Integral Technologies, as the company served notice of its ambitious plans and its new direction after its recent acquisition by an electrical equipment manufacturer.

Integral announced at ASIS a consolidation where the Security International name will disappear as it is folded into Integral, while Integral has been separated into its own entity separate from Andover Controls. All three were acquired in May by Schneider Electric from Balfour Beatty, which means a better focus, Integral’s new president Matthew Kushner told Security Sales & Integration.

“Balfour Beatty was a construction company. We didn’t fit,” says Kushner, a former vice president of sales at Integral who also previously helped manage sales for the ADEMCO Group (now Honeywell Security).

Integral will serve as the core security business for Schneider and introduced several new products at ASIS. Kushner says to expect to hear more out of Integral in the coming year.

“We have very ambitious goals. This company will be very aggressive in acquisitions, but the key word is strategic acquisitions,” says Kushner.
