Integrated Alarm Services Group Inc. (IASG) has extended its reach west after acquiring Lane Security Inc., parent company of Protection Service Industries L.P. (PSI) of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
Integrated Alarm announced the completion of the $46 million acquisition on Dec. 16. PSI provides commercial and residential security monitoring services in the western United States.
“The PSI acquisition is IASG’s largest security transaction and achieves two major strategic objectives: our entry into the commercial security marketplace with a highly respected vendor and our further expansion in the western United States,” says Timothy M. McGinn, Chairman and CEO of IASG. “Our primary focus for the next few months will be the integration of the alarm contracts and businesses and the assimilation of the people we are adding into the IASG management team.”
