Integrator Gets Homeland Security Designation

The president of a systems integrator in Michigan has received a homeland security certification from the American College of Forensics Examiners Institute. Paul David Shelton, who heads Oak Park, Mich., integrator D/A Central Inc., has been awarded with the Certified in Homeland Security (CHS) Level II designation and will serve as a member of the CHS Preparation and Response team for security in Michigan.

To receive the certification, Shelton passed what is called a “rigorous” examination of homeland security-related experience, training, knowledge and skill. He will need to take ongoing classes to maintain his CHS status.

With 34 years of security experience, Shelton has been president of D/A Central for 30 years.
