MDI Inc., a deliverer of open integrated security control, alarm management and video security solutions, announced today that James W. Power has been appointed as the new chairman of the board and Carlo R. Loi has been appointed as the new vice chairman.
Power, who has served as an MDI board member since June 2004, is a principal partner in J.W. Power & Associates, a security industry consulting firm and is the current Chairman for Axium Technologies, a global provider of video security solutions. Power has been a successful security industry executive and has served as both director and chairman of the board for several leading security companies including RF Logics and InfoGraphic Systems Corp.
Loi, who has served as an MDI board member since January 2003 and chairman of the board since November 2003, will now serve as vice chairman.
