Integrator Support LLC has launched a new dealer program to help installing security contractors expand their portfolio to include a variety of managed services.
The Westminster, Colo.-based provider of recurring monthly revenue (RMR) models specializes in remote monitoring, interactive video, hosted access control and leasing services.
“This dealer program is extensive and includes materials integrators need today to effectively sell managed services to their customer base,” says Sharon Shaw, vice president of Integrator Support. “Integrators need to know how to compensate their staff, how to market the services, how to make the sales pitch, and how to spec and price projects.”
Participation in the new program offers integrators access to industry white papers, monitoring contracts, sales literature, technology specifications, estimating tools, customizable sales literature, cost and ROI analyses, submission forms and end-user presentations.
Managed services provide a means for installing security contractors to generate recurring revenue while providing high-level services to their customers, says Bill Bozeman, president and CEO of PSA Security Network, an affiliate partner to Integrator Support.
“With equipment and installation margins shrinking, managed services provide a way for systems integrators to maintain profitability, and even increase the company’s value while increasing cash flow and lowering credit risk,” Bozeman says. “Systems integrators must establish a managed services business model and Integrator Support is the vehicle to get them there.”
