Integrator Tapped to Install Security at Peoria Airport
OMAHA, Neb.
The regional airport in Peoria, Ill. has tapped integrator
Adesta to provide it with electronic security. Adesta will
design, update and install the airport’s perimeter
protection and electronic security systems in a project
expected to be completed in June.
The Greater Peoria Regional Airport is one of the many
airports in the country that received funding to tighten
its security as part of the Aviation and Transportation
Security Act.
“Adesta is a perfect fit for regional airports with
homeland security infrastructure needs,” said Bob
Sommerfeld, president of Adesta LLC, in a press
release. “Our experience in designing and installing the
communication network and the physical and electronic
security infrastructure for various aviation and weapons
storage facilities, military bases and government agencies
worldwide gives organizations like the Peoria Regional
Airport peace of mind.”
