The DIGI-44B and DIGI-88B HDBaseT/HDMI matrix switchers by Intelix, of Middleton, Wis., a Liberty AV brand, are 4×4 and 8×8 devices respectively that share a host of features designed to facilitate easy installation and a diverse range of functionality.
Outfitted with dual-mode output ports, both units can simultaneously be used to make an HDMI connection and then send the same signal to an HDBaseT receiver located at a remote destination, according to the company. HDBaseT ports found on either configuration of the matrix switcher also support 1,080p HDMI video with audio, bidirectional wide-band infrared (IR), matrix control via IR, and HDCP. Conversely, each matrix is HDMI compatible and supports resolutions up to 2 kHz, deep color, and full 3D.
