The Elite Telephone Entry system, manufactured by Chamberlain Professional Products of Elmhurst, Ill., is designed to provide communications for single- and multiple-family dwellings as well as gated communities and light-duty commercial applications. The system will accommodate up to 25 directory codes and features 250, three- to nine-digit access codes and a thousand-event history buffer.
In addition, the Elite will perform remote functions through the use of four on-board relays that can be configured to release door strikes, shunt alarm switches and call up cameras when activated. Elite’s memory is nonvolatile, which means it will remain intact even during power outages and brownouts, while operation is immediate with power restored.
