Home Automation Inc. (HAI) of Albita Springs, La., announces the availability of the OmniTouch with video, a high-tech user interface that allows end users to perform all the usual functions included in the original OminiTouch plus the ability to see up to six cameras using digital technology.
According to HAI, the system is fully automated so when an event occurs at one end of the house, the homeowner can view a nearby camera in real-time, such as would occur when someone presses the doorbell button on the porch. In addition to the added video feature, OmniTouch with video displays responsive icons that pertain to lights and appliances in the home, monitoring and adjusting indoor temperatures, monitoring home security, observing the outdoor temperature as well as that of the pool.
