Intransa of Cupertino, Calif., has expanded its offerings with the addition of the VA100 and the VA200 video server and storage appliances. The VA100 video server and storage appliance now has RAID-6 protection in addition to RAID-5. It comes with a 2, 3, 4 or 8TB base capacity that is expandable to a maximum of 32TB with choice of VMS preload.
The VA200 has also added RAID-6 and now offers the ability to scale a single appliance system to 80TB of recording and playback capacity with choice of VMS preload.
