Intruder Lifts $750K of Art, Home Surveillance System from Apartment

NEW YORK — Police are on the hunt for a thief who stole $750,000 worth of art and jewelry, as well as a home surveillance system, from an apartment in the Meatpacking District.

The suspect took Andy Warhol limited-edition prints, Rolex and Cartier watches from the home of 49-year-old Robert Romanoff, president of the Nebraska Meat Corp., reports the New York Post. The intrusion took place between Nov. 24 and Nov. 28, while Romanoff was away on vacation.
