Ioimage, provider of intelligent video appliances, announces its acquisition of the technological assets of Unisor, a software and hardware design and manufacturing house for commercial and military markets.
Specializing in embedded design and product development, Unisor brings to ioimage experience in the development of video transmission, data link communications, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions. The acquisition also equips ioimage with the patent-pending lvm platform, a low-latency video encoder for high-end, video-based applications. Now marketed as part of the ioibox series of video encoders, the lvm platform is an advanced miniature encoder used for remote surveillance, homeland security, defense and military organizations.
