IP UserGroup USA Makes Tour Stop in SoCal: May 15, Pasadena, Calif.

The IP UserGroup sponsored its 4th IP-in-Action LIVE event at the Pasadena Conference Center on May 15. Security Sales & Integration was the trade media sponsor of the one-day combined exhibition and education event dedicated to IP-based solutions for physical security.

Among the presenters at the Pasadena, Calif., event was Cisco Systems’ Bob Beliles, senior manager, Physical Security Technology Group, who focused on the deployment of IP-based video surveillance systems and the transformation of physical security in a converged world.

Steven Van Till, president and COO of Brivo Systems, and Eric Fullerton, president of Milestone Systems were also in the lineup. Van Till spoke on “Taking Access Control Beyond Its Boundaries With IP,” while Fullerton’s presentation “The Business Case for IP Video Management” offered attendees insight into the field.

Leading IP solution providers attended the event, including Axis Communications, Brivo Systems, DVTel, Fluidmesh Networks, GarretCom, IQinVision, Milestone Systems, OnSSI, Sony Electronics Inc., JVC Professional Products, and many more.

Attendees of the event had the opportunity to explore all aspects of the technology and best practices to help apply IP to reduce costs and improve functionality, as well as survey applications including retail, healthcare, education, transportation, manufacturing and government.
