IQ Certification Program Rebrands Its Image

ERIE, Pa.

The Installation Quality (IQ) Certification Program has introduced a redesigned logo that marks the first phase of the program’s rebranding effort. A new tagline, “The only quality control program for installations, maintenance and service of electronic safety systems,” also accompanies the logo.

“We are excited to debut the new IQ Certification logo and tagline,” says Dale Eller, executive director of the IQ Certification Program. “Our new logo is a visual representation of our goal to make IQ Certification the ‘badge of honor’ for those companies that have met the program’s criteria.”

IQ Certification is a dealer-based quality control program for electronic and life-safety systems. Companies must pledge to adhere to a code of ethics and to provide top-notch maintenance and service to earn IQ certification. They must also train their employees in industry-recognized programs, meet all licensing requirements and carry proper insurance coverage.

One of main goals for the rebranding is to communicate that IQ is more than a false alarm program. IQ plans to revamp its Web site to include the new logo and tagline and add more information to the site, including messages specific to IQ Certified companies, consumers and public safety.
