IQinVision, a provider of megapixel network cameras, smart IP cameras, and network video recording systems, announces it has been awarded Frost & Sullivan’s 2007 North American Excellence in Technology Award for Internet protocol (IP)-based video surveillance.
IQinVision received the award for its multi-megapixel line of network cameras. The most recent addition to the product line is a 5-megapixel IQeye day/night camera, which expands coverage area to 16 times that of normal CCTV cameras and is suitable for 360 degrees immersive video applications, according to the company.
Frost & Sullivan’s Excellence in Technology Awards recognize companies that have pioneered the development and introduction of an innovative technology into the market.
