“We are thrilled with the industry’s support of ISC West 2016. This year’s exhibit floor was the largest ever, and security professionals from around the globe have clearly embraced the event,” said Ed Several, senior vice president, ISC Events. “ISC West has become a barometer of what is in store for the business end of the security industry in the coming year, and based on what we saw at ISC West, I’d say the industry is poised for a great year.”

This year’s conference included the launch of Connected Security Expo @ ISC West sponsored by SIA (CSE), which focused on building a holistic security strategy for the connected enterprise, including how physical and information security can be used together to mitigate new and emerging cyber threats in a hyper-connected world. The Expo offered a conference program, leading-edge exhibitors and keynotes addressing the future of cybersecurity. Also, an Innovation Stage offered attendees of both CSE and ISC West a number of free sessions throughout the first two days of the event.

The 2016 SIA Education@ISC West conference, held April 5-7, offered attendees more than 65 sessions to help security professionals stay on top of the trends impacting the security industry. This programming 11 workshops covering topics such as Dealing with Active Shooters, Developing the Problem-Solving Mindset, Cyber Security, Critical Thinking for Security Professionals, Creating Fully Engaged Customers, and New-Age Selling.
