BOULDER, Colo. — ISONAS, an IP access control system manufacturer and part of the Allegion family of brands, recently added a new distribution partner in Salt Lake City.
Intermountain Security Supply (IML) is an independent wholesale distributor offering products from all major manufacturers in the security and locksmith industries and will now be adding the ISONAS Pure IP Access control family to its portfolio.
Established more than 40 years ago, IML is a leading wholesale distributor in the Western United States with locations in Utah, Colorado, Nevada, California, Arizona, Washington and Texas.
To kick off this new partnership, Steve Anderson, technical sales trainer at ISONAS, will be conducting a training class on May 10 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at IML’s Salt Lake City facility. The course will allow IML and ISONAS attendees an opportunity to explore the benefits of Pure IP access control, which is billed as “a simpler and easier to install with a category cable and their edge-based device that eliminates the need for a traditional panel,” according to an announcement.

The certification course provides in-depth training on the Pure IP hardware and Pure Access software and is suited for technicians who have a basic understanding of IP networking and access control. Upon course completion attendees will be considered a fully certified ISONAS integrator.
In addition to their onsite training program, ISONAS also offers its integrator customers the option of a self-service online training platform that is self-paced and allows technicians to be certified on their own timeline.
