Discovery Channel is bringing back its popular security
series “It Takes a Thief” for a second season, and the
security consultant staff that helped make it a success
will be back as well. Frank Santamorena, PSP—a physical
security professional from ASSA ABLOY Americas Integrated
Solutions Specialist Program (ISS Team)—will once again
serve as the security expert for the second season
of “Thief.”
Santamorena and “Thief” hosts Matt Johnston and Jon Douglas Rainey were featured in an exclusive cover story in the August issue of SSI as well as making a keynote appearance at last year’s ISC East in an event co-sponsored by Security Sales & Integration magazine.
The article, “’Thief’ Reforms Security Slackers,” written by SSI Editor-in-Chief Scott Goldfine, was recently selected as a finalist for Best Feature/Trade in the Western Publishers Association Maggie Awards competition. The annual program covers all magazines west of the Mississippi River and includes nearly 2,000 entries.
