GE Interlogix announces its ITI brand of equipment is now available through some security-channel distributors. Two of the distributors to carry the products will be Alarmax and The Systems Depot. ITI products, including control panels and peripherals for fire, security and home automation, have only been available manufacturer-direct since 1980. “Our new distribution strategy will allow us to make Sentrol, Caddx, ITI, ESL and the Kalatel lines available to all dealers under similar terms and conditions,” says Reed Grothe, vice president of sales for ITI. Grothe says dealers may continue to buy ITI products direct and receive the same sales, marketing and technical support to which they are accustomed.
