Jeron Electronic Systems of Chicago releases the Pro-Alert 480, a two-way communication solution for areas of rescue assistance. The system provides code-compliant communication from stairwells and a means of egress to allow a person to request emergency evacuation in a designated area.
The product features a touchscreen master console that offers simultaneous display of up to 128 calls, a 5.7-inch LCD touchscreen with LED backlight, and an alphanumeric display of station number and name.
The solution routes emergency calls to an off-site phone number to ensure all calls are answered even when the command center is unstaffed. It also pinpoints the exact location of the caller on the master console through addressable stations, allowing rescue workers to reach the person in distress in a timely manner, according to the company.
