JMG’s 11th Annual 2006 Benefit Golf Tournament drew a record number of participants. According to JMG, the 245 golfers who showed up generated one of the largest donations in the event’s history.

The event resulted in the generous donation of $70,000, which will be used for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley. According to JMG, this brings the 11-year total raised by the organization’s fundraiser to more than $400,000.

Because of the additional participants, the Classic and Players courses at Mile Square Golf Club in Fountain Valley were used for the very first time in the event’s history.

“The generosity of our sponsors make it possible for the event to double in size this year and still be successful,” says Ken Jacobs of JMG. “Their support underwrites many of the activities and gifts that draw such an enthusiastic, faithful and growing group of players each year.”
