Johnson Controls is providing a $3 million sponsorship of the largest exhibit in Milwaukee’s Discovery World—Johnson Controls’ TechnoJungle: The Hunt for the Next Great Idea. According to Johnson Controls, this is the largest grant ever given in its Milwaukee headquarters’ community.

The new science and technology museum’s major exhibit will showcase Johnson Controls’ most innovative technology. Exhibit areas will demonstrate how the firm combines the human interface with an expertise in integrated technology solutions. The exhibit also will show the value of energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.

Johnson Controls’ TechnoJungle will provide teachers with new tools and curriculum to support classroom instruction. The firm will also include funding during the next five years to enhance the exhibit and keep it current and compelling. The exhibit is scheduled to open shortly after Discovery World’s full fall opening.

Johnson Controls’ design and creative teams are working with Discovery World, incorporating sustainable design into the exhibit along with examples of innovative products and engineering concepts from all three of the company’s businesses. Automotive interior components, building comfort and security systems, and advanced batteries and power storage products will be integrated into the exhibit messaging.
