CARLSBAD, Calif.—Nice, a global manufacturer of home and building management solutions, has announced the launch of Juno, a sleek gate operator designed to provide modern residential gate automation.

The company asserts that as the market increasingly demands compact, feature-rich solutions, Juno offers a fresh design that blends style, performance, and ease of use to deliver value for both dealers and end users.

“Our partners need reliable, easy-to-install solutions that align with modern aesthetic and functional demands,” says Lisa Steinberg, senior product manager at Nice North America. “With Juno, we’re providing a revolutionary product that not only performs exceptionally but also elevates the standard for gate operators in residential applications.”

Juno Easy to Install and Loaded with Features

According to Nice North America, Juno smart home solutions features a compact and modern design inspired by European aesthetics but tailored for the North American market. Through its design Nice suggests that its new gate solution challenges the notion that effective gate operators need to be bulky to be powerful.

Nice North America specifies Juno to measure 17.2 inches (W) x 16 inches (D), and it says its new gate product can operate up to 800 lb. gates that are 40-feet long. The company says the product’s integrated driveway light illuminates the driveway during gate activation to help enhance safety and convenience. Juno also incorporates an intuitive status indicator that it says provides real-time updates, with green signaling opening, red indicating closure, and rapid flashing alerting users to errors.

Other features the Juno gate product provides include a photo eye safety device that is internally mounted to offer greater reliability and protection when compared to traditional externally mounted systems. In the event of power loss Nice North America explains Juno’s manual release ensures uninterrupted access. Additionally, the operator’s built-in slow-down feature minimizes wear and tear to provide durability and quiet performance. At the core of the new gate solution is the Mercury 310 controller, which Nice North America says is designed for fast and easy programming to help dealers complete setups efficiently, saving time and resources.

The Juno system runs on a 12-volt DC battery with battery charger and MPPT solar controller built into the control board providing flexible AC or solar power options.

Summarizing the release of Juno, Nice North America says that its latest gate product was developed to meet the needs of the gate automation industry with a focus on reliability, ease of installation, and long-term performance. Installers, the company boasts, can benefit from the sales and installation of the system, which includes quick setup and accessories such as a receiver, two remotes and required safety devices.
