JVC Enters Residential Security Market

JVC Professional Products Co. announces its entry into the residential security market by releasing its V.Networks lineup of surveillance cameras and recorders.

The lineup, centered on the VR-N900U network video recorder, offers more than 20 analog and IP-based cameras and monitors for the residential custom installation market.

“With the increases in network speed of cable and fiber systems, we can now offer a world-class IP surveillance system to residential users,” says Steve Martin, video security division manager and assistant vice president of JVC. “We’ve come along way since the days of simple alarm systems. Homeowners can now keep an eye on their property from anywhere in the world.”
