Global electronic lock provider Kaba Ilco Inc. recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification by Intertek, an independent third-party auditor. ISO 9001:2008 is the latest revision of the ISO Quality Management System standard.
The Montreal manufacturing facility had to meet a number of requirements to be granted the registration. ISO 9001:2008 requirements include continuous improvement in an organization and customer satisfaction through consistent products and services. Kaba Ilco has implemented numerous industry “best practices” leading to this certification, according to the company.
Kaba Ilco manufactures and distributed locks to international hotel, lodging and vacation retail markets.
