Lexington, Mass.-based Kantech introduces an integrated telephone entry intercom and access control panel designed for applications including multi-tenant apartment buildings and commercial offices. For small sites, the system comes complete with a simplified version of the EntraPass software for system configuration and firmware upgrades. It also provides live transaction monitoring, tenant list modification and system back up.
The system is housed in a weather- and vandal-resistant housing. The 4-line, 20-character LCD with high-contrast and backlighting is designed for easy viewing, according to the company. Visitors can select a tenant from a 3,000-capacity list and can grant or deny access fro a landline or mobile phone.
