COPS Monitoring Names Kat Tallman Executive Vice President

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. — COPS Monitoring today announces that Kat Tallman has been named executive vice president of software and technology.

Tallman’s promotion “expand(s) the leadership of a respected executive whose deep experience across operations and technology will help strengthen innovation, support dealers and enhance the service that protects their customers,” the company announcement says.

Tallman began her career with COPS in 2000 as an alarm dispatcher and “built her leadership foundation from the monitoring center floor upward,” according to the company announcement. She has also served as floor supervisor, dealer support manager, shift manager, special projects site manager and director of special projects during her tenure with the company.

“Her career path reflects both the depth of her experience and the breadth of her understanding of the company’s operations, the needs of its dealer partners, and the evolving demands of the alarm industry,” according to the COPS Monitoring announcement.

What Will Tallman Do as COPS Monitoring Executive VP?

In her new role as executive vice president, Tallman will “oversee a broader technology and operational portfolio that includes existing software development for Generations and MPower, network infrastructure and integrity, network security and vendor and product integrations, including APIs,” according to the company announcement.

Her responsibilities “now extend across teams supporting technology in multiple facilities and locations, encompassing approximately 20 professionals and reflecting a significant expansion in scope and leadership impact,” the announcement says.

“Kat’s promotion reflects the kind of leadership that can only be built through experience, credibility, and results,” says Jim McMullen, president and chief operating officer of COPS Monitoring, in the company announcement. “She understands our business from the inside out, from the monitoring floor to complex technology initiatives, and she brings a rare ability to connect operational needs with technical execution.
