The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) has welcomed the Kansas Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (KBFAA) into the organization as a state-chartered chapter.
“We’re glad to have Kansas as a chapter. Their participation will make the association, and the industry, stronger,” says NBFAA President Mike Miller. “We welcome the vision, knowledge and fresh perspectives that the KBFAA leadership and members have to offer.”
Beginning in 2009, members renewing in Kansas will now be able to have membership in both associations. The dual membership affords security contractors to receive discounts on education and training, government relations representation at the national level, public relations exposure and updates on industry issues, trends and standards, as well as access to all local and state-level networking and unique activities in the KBFAA.
