SPRINGFIELD, Mo. –– Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has announced that Ken Francis, former president of Eagle Eye Networks and CEO of Actuate, has joined the company as executive vice president to “focus on the continued unification of DMP’s products with video surveillance and artificial intelligence.”

Francis is a “seasoned security technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading global product, go-to-market and channel expansion to commercialize cloud and vision AI solutions,” according to the DMP announcement.

He has “scaled global partner ecosystems, transitioned businesses toward recurring revenue models and translated advanced technologies into deployable services for operators and monitoring centers,” the announcement says.

“The market is maturing and DMP dealers want fully integrated video solutions built specifically for professional monitoring. Ken will help us shape the next generation of Digital Monitoring Products,” he says.

Why Did Ken Francis Join DMP as Executive VP?

Prior to joining DMP, Francis served as CEO of Actuate, a New York City-based provider of machine-learned video analytics serving remote video monitoring companies globally. Previously, he was president of Eagle Eye Networks, vice president of sales & marketing for UTC Fire & Security and global products general manager for GE Security.

“DMP’s decades-long leadership in professional monitoring creates a strong foundation for the next phase of unified monitoring systems,” says Francis. “As artificial intelligence becomes a mainstream component of monitoring services, the opportunity is to integrate these technologies directly into monitoring products that improve safety, support dealer growth and reduce operational complexity.

“I have been integrating products with DMP for 20+ years and have always wanted to work for the brand and with their people. I am incredibly excited about the future,” he says.

Francis “will continue to participate in the industry association working groups around the world with which he contributes, focused on giving back to the industry and its professionals,” according to the DMP announcement.
