SAN DIEGO — Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has earned an $8.3 million contract to design, engineer, deploy and integrate a specialized training system at a critical U.S. military installation, according to the company.
The contract calls for Kratos engineers and technicians to install more than 200 specialized video surveillance cameras and related systems integration. The company did not release additional information due to customer-specific sensitivities.
“We are pleased to continue providing our video systems installation and support,” Kratos|HBE President Ben Goodwin says. “Our team takes pride in providing system integration services for military bases and critical infrastructure/key resources.”
The award helps Kratos expand its footprint in the military market. Earlier this month, it won a $9 million, three-year contract to provide systems engineering and logistics technical services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
