Lanier Rep Group (LRG) Moves into Larger, Updated Facility
LRG’s new location offers a dedicated demonstration and training room equipped with fiber connectivity for voice, data and remote streaming demos.
JASPER, Texas — Lanier Rep Group (LRG), an independent manufacturers rep firm serving the electronic security industry, is moving its support center here to a larger, more modern facility.
The new 7,000-square-foot building will accommodate and support LRG’s growing client base and staff, according to an announcement. The structure features a large, dedicated demonstration and training room equipped with fiber connectivity for voice, data and remote streaming demos. The new support center also includes a large warehouse that is well suited for staging regional events and product rollouts, according to the company.
This year the company is celebrating its 16th anniversary. In 2001, LRG was founded by Chris Lanier out of a spare bedroom home office, serving Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. The company would later move into the 105-year-old Linton Lanier building in downtown Jasper, which was once home to J. L. Lanier & Co., a men’s clothing store.
The firm’s new location will allow it to better serve LRG’s growing business, says LRG President Chris Lanier.
“We are excited to transition to our new space, located at 227 E. Milam Street,” he says. “It will offer our dealers and distributors enhanced services and capabilities in a larger, more high technology facility.”
LRG has expanded to cover 16 states from Texas to Minnesota and grown into a 16-person sales team. The company’s latest hire is Steve Reddington, who has assumed the regional sales manager position for Illinois and Eastern Wisconsin. He brings more than 25 years of security, safety and automation experience to the company.
LRG bills itself as the only regional representation firm providing national support capability through its marketing alliance network.
