Security Sales & Integration is urging security professionals to participate in its 2008 Industry Census before it concludes Friday at 5 p.m. PST. The survey is designed to establish an in-depth, demographic profile of the people who comprise the electronic security industry.
As a follow-up to SSI’s first Industry Census, the results of which were featured in the April 2005 issue, the study is formatted similarly to a government census but specifically tailored to the electronic security industry.
While there has been much analysis of the industry through the years, nearly all of it has focused on the technology and/or business/financial/management aspects of the profession. The Industry Census is the only research that digs deep beneath the surface to truly define the individual makeup of the industry’s people and celebrate its diversity.
SSI urges anyone involved in the industry to respond to the anonymous survey.
The results will be revealed in SSI’s March ISC West show issue. And if that is not enough of an incentive, one lucky respondent will win a handheld GPS device!
