Identix Inc., a multibiometric technology company, was awarded a purchase order in excess of $400,000 from an unnamed law enforcement agency.
Among the items ordered were the Identix® TouchPrint™ 3800 Full-Hand Live Scan Systems, which enables the full hand to be captured in a single step, Identix TouchPrint 3000 and 3100 Live Scan Systems. The order is expected to be shipped and installed in fiscal 2005 first quarter ending 2005.
The order comes on the heels of recent purchase orders totaling about $500,000 from various California law enforcement agencies.
Identix specializes in fingerprint, facial and skin biometric technologies.
