The challenge coin ceremony highlighted how law enforcement safely and resolved a violent bank robbery at a national bank in Citrus County, Fla. The Highway Patrol and the Sheriff’s Office coordinated a successful operation, utilizing crime intelligence delivered to their dispatchers by the 3Si solution platform.
Dispatchers and first responders “took swift and thoughtful action to ensure the apprehension of the suspects, including the recovery of an AR-15,” according to the company announcement. This operation “highlighted the critical role of interagency collaboration, prioritizing officer and community safety, and 3Si’s advanced security technologies,” the announcement says.
“These officers exemplify the courage and commitment it takes to protect our communities,” said Long during the ceremony. “Their achievements deserve to be recognized, and we’re grateful to have had the chance to honor them at GSX.”
The swift capture of dangerous criminals in this case and thousands more was made possible through the collaboration between law enforcement and 3Si’s advanced security technologies. 3Si’s solutions provide critical real-time tracking data that provides tactical high ground and empowers law enforcement to bring criminals to justice.
