The 200 Series LCD monitors, manufactured by Pelco of Clovis, Calif., provide a high-resolution display when using VGA video mode. The 17- and 19-inch models automatically adapt to the appropriate input resolution. They also contain on-screen, user-friendly menus and front panel controls for adjusting the picture.
The 300 Series LCDs are designed specifically for the security industry and are available in 15-, 17- and 19-inch models. According to Pelco, the 300 Series provides high-resolution display of computer signals as well as composite video. In addition, they automatically detect and display high-resolution images using the appropriate video format (NTSC or PAL). The 300 also uses four long-life cold-cathode florescent tube (CCFT) backlights to maintain the brightest level over time.
