The first installment of the SSI Industry Hall of Fame Educational Webcast Series will be Jan. 18 (2 p.m. EDT). Featured presenter John Jennings, former CEO of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Safeguard Security, will examine three strategies he learned to grow his business from 6-figure to 7-figures, then 7-figures to 8-figures. Jennings transformed Safeguard Security from a small residential security and patrol business to a fully thriving integrated security and solutions company that routinely posted double-digit growth. During his tenure, yearly gross revenues increased from $500,000 to more than $38 million. Jennings completed a successful sale of the company to SAFE Security in 2014.
Among his list of industry honors, Jennings is a recipient of the Morris Weinstock Person of the Year Award and the first recipient of the Honeywell Security Lifetime Achievement Award. He was inducted into the SSI Industry Hall of Fame in 2013.
