Rochester, N.Y.-based Lenel Systems Int’l and Guardall Ltd. of Scotland have consolidated their business operations into Lenel Systems Int’l Inc. The two businesses, which are both UTC Fire & Security companies, will maintain current operational locations in the United States and internationally.
“By combining marketing, supply chain, accounting and customer service functions, the new business will be better aligned and organized to support the combined global customer base, provide faster response and better products,” says Lenel President Luis Orbegoso.
Lenel and Guardall will continue to market their products through certified value added retailers (VARs) and dealers, respectively. Both companies will continue to maintain distinct product portfolios, separate sales and distribution channels.
Bill Lozon has been named as vice president of global sales for Guardall. Lozon has more than 25 years of security industry experience, including leadership positions at Bosch Security Systems and Honeywell Int’l (Pittway) in global market strategy development, partnership management and consultative sales. He most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for UltraVision.
