Lenel Systems Intl. announces that it has teamed up with Suntech Systems Inc., HID Corp. and Ultra Electronics to donate equipment and services for an integrated, total security management system at Habitat for Humanity Intl.‘s (HFHI) world headquarters in Americus, Ga. Lenel will donate system software and project management services; Suntech will provide on-site installation and training; and HID will furnish proximity card readers and ID/access control cards. The identification card printer, a MagiCard Turbo, will be donated by Ultra Electronics. Steve McCorkle, director of operations at HFHI’s world headquarters, says, “We believe that this is an outstanding contribution that will allow us to have a seamlessly integrated badging and access control solution for our world headquarters campus. We are excited about this project and look forward to future successes.”
Once in place, the system will help to secure HFHI personnel as well as the organization’s physical and intellectual property. “It is an honor for us to participate in this project,” remarks Elena Prokupets, Lenel president and CEO. “We’re very happy that Habit for Humanity recognizes Lenel’s excellent reputation in the security industry, and trusts us to help secure its staff and facilities.”
