Citing the accomplishment of initial goals, the Law
Enforcement and Security Alliance (LESA) has dissolved.
LESA, which was established to promote public and private
sector relationships, particularly regarding alarm systems,
was successful in increasing awareness of the goals
achievable by working together, it says.
According to a statement released by LESA representative
Patti Rea, “There are still existing opportunities where
public and private sector partnerships need to be
cultivated, but there are many organizations offering
guidance and assistance to all parties involved in this
endeavor.”
LESA cites one such organization as the Security Industry
Alarm Coalition (SIAC), which educates the public on alarm-
related subjects and promotes the continuing communication
and support between the public and private sectors.
