Leviton Training Awarded Education Credits

The National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association’s (NBFAA)
National Training School (NTS) has approved a Leviton
Integrated Networks installer training program for 0.8
continuing education credits. The full-day workshop,
Structured Wiring Essentials and Structured Wiring,
Planning and Installation (CEU course no. 03-1117), is
divided into two sections and offers textbook instruction,
real-life scenarios and a hands-on wiring of a system.

In other Leviton news, the company has formed a partnership
with Zensys, a residential wireless networking technology
provider. Under the deal, the companies will develop,
manufacturer and market products based on Zensys’ Z-wave™
radio frequency technology.

The suite of products will include wireless switches,
dimmers and receptacles interoperable with other Z-wave-
enabled devices like thermostats and garage door openers.
