Leviton Enhances Lumina Gateway and RF Eco-System

Leviton’s enhancement includes energy management automation for franchise owners, enterprise corporations, and other business entities managing multiple-location properties.

Melville, NY – Leviton announced it has made significant user experience enhancements to the Lumina Gateway and Lumina RF eco-system.

The update consists of energy management solutions that are said to be ideal for enterprise corporations with multiple locations.

The mesh network-enabled system provides automation based on times and tasks to turn lights off at a certain time each night, adjust thermostats each morning, and remotely access signage, generators, compressors, fountains, water heaters, and more.

New features to the Lumina Gateway system include:

  • A dashboard fed by Google Maps
  • Corporate-wide scheduling with one unified open/close/automation scheme for all applicable stores
  • Role-based authority levels for corporate, regional, and store employees.

The new mobile app, Leviton Cloud Services, shows all business locations in a real-time list for easy access to remotely automate lighting controls, thermostats, occupancy and door contact sensors, window coverings and more from one device.

These features can help to simplify automation and energy management across several locations by allowing franchise or business owners and managers to create schedules or holidays and apply the settings to all locations, while still allowing for customization for specific locations.

For instance, this would allow end users to turn on lighting in all stores with a ‘Store Open’ automation scheme, according to Leviton.

“Installers or facility managers can quickly create automation schedules or holidays and apply the settings to all locations, excluding stores that may open at a later time or have different holiday schedules,” says Tom Leonard, vice president of marketing and product management for Leviton Energy Management, Controls & Automation.
