Liberty Medical Opens PERS Monitoring Center
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine
Liberty Medical Supply has expanded into personal emergency response system (PERS) monitoring with Liberty Medical Response Inc. (LMR), a fully equipped central station staffed by medically trained personnel.
Alarm industry veteran Barry Brannon is spearheading the launch of the South Portland, Maine-based home health monitoring center. Brannon was approached by Liberty Medical Supply, which supplies products and personalized services to diabetes patients, because of his vast alarm monitoring experience. Prior to joining LMR, Brannon served as president of Marlin Central Monitoring in Kissimmee, Fla.
“This is a perfect opportunity for alarm dealers to add this important service. PERS is an easy install and the field is wide open,” says Brannon. “The goal of Liberty Medical Response is to bring new services and products to our current diabetic patient base, so they can live at home longer, safer and independently and much more economically.”
LMR is also launching a dealer program to purchase accounts and plans to grow through bulk acquisitions.
