Keltron of Waltham,
Mass., introduces version
3.0 software for the LS 7000 life-safety event management system. The
new
software allows events to be directed to different operators at
different
workstations and supports the new LS Net Ethernet transceiver that
transmits
signals using standard 10/100 megabits/second Ethernet communications
technology. The software also provides an intuitive method of entering
coded
signal information along with direct display and history reporting for
coded
signal systems, and records and logs supervisory alarms. A new
application-specific utility program also makes the connection between
LS 7000
workstations and the LS server fast and efficient, says the
manufacturer.
